This cinema ad is part of Kapten’s simultaneous campaign launch in England and in France which is in cinemas now as well as the master ad for the social media campaign. It’s a party political broadcast with a cheeky twist and some subtle humour. Shot in London and Paris and shot in glorious anamorphic.

There is an awful lot to communicate in this ad with benefits, four set ups and visual gags in 30 seconds so the flow from scene and delivery has to work perfectly. Some light comping and SFX work enabled us to bring out the humour of the creative. There are also  about two dozen social assets for both English and French scripts.

We all have those terrible, face palm moments. Whether it’s falling asleep in the sun or that handshake that clashes with a kiss and turns into an awkward embrace. Aussie can fix your hair, but they can’t fix your life.

Balancing the narrative, creative and beauty can sometimes be a difficult thing. But with the use of slow motion, great performances and elegant visuals, we delivered two fun and relateable scenarios which showcase the Aussie’s laidback and confident flair.

Looking good doesn’t need to be hard work. For the third year in a row Veet are sponsoring The Only Way is Essex and Recipe created iconic idents for the iconic show. In each of these vignettes we explore the effortlessness that comes with Veet and contrast it with fun moments.

The minimal and pristine sets direct the focus onto the actors and their performances. The challenge with this cut was finding the perfect human moments in both the Veet girls and the onlookers to maximise the comedy and absurdity and bring the story to life.
